Got quite a bit accomplished today. Bill got the rest of the right hand side of the south ridge dropped and got half of it pulled out.
He then went down and pulled the big pine down to the roadway so he can start to cut it up. That thing was so big it dragged him backwards as he "winched" and he even did some wheelies!
He also brought his York rake over so I can start to fix the log roads. I did 2 passes on the highest setting today and over the next few days I'll start to drop it one notch at a time and make a couple passes on each setting.
There are a lot of rocks in the road that have "frosted up" and I think the whole roadway just needs some gravel put down on it.
I also picked up a red maple down at the nursery in Warrensburg to replace the one that didnt make it this spring so now I have a 2nd tree in the front yard.
While I was up in town I went to the new Price Chopper. Very nice! The big problem they are going to have is not enough parking. The place was packed and they still have the bank and 2 stores that have to open.
This afternoon I cleaned out the garage more and got it more organized. Ill take some pix of it tomorrow when the light is better. Much more organized.
Lastly I got the fire pit finished and lit my 1st fire. Nothing more RELAXING!!! then a nice cold beer and a new fire pit after a long hard day.
